We've been a Madison staple since 1972, serving up the best house-made gyros in the country. If you're someone who loves to move fast, laugh hard, and make people smile, we want to meet you!

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a key role in creating exceptional guest experiences from start to finish. We cross-train all positions and switch it up during shifts, so you’re always learning something new, staying active, and keeping life interesting.

Here’s a glimpse of what your day might include:

• Ring the OPA Bell and bring good vibes
• Greet guests with a smile and ensure everyone leaves happy
• Craft our iconic gyros and other menu items with care and precision
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space
• Jump in wherever help is needed — we’re a team!

Want to grow and earn more? There are many opportunities for raises by learning specialties like gyro production, Greek yogurt making, gyro cutting, and leader training.

What We’re Looking For

No restaurant experience? No problem — we’ll train the right person. What matters most is your attitude .

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, upbeat, and a genuinely good human
• A fast mover who loves to learn and grow
• Dependable and team-oriented
• Comfortable communicating and problem-solving
• Passionate about food and guest service

Preferred:

• Flexible availability (mornings + nights)
• Leadership potential a big plus!

What You’ll Get

• $20.00–$25.00+ per hour (includes wages + tips)
• $16.00/hour minimum guaranteed
• Super flexible scheduling
• FREE food when working, and discounts when off
• Paid time off for Shift Leads

‍♀️ Physical Demands

• Walk up/down stairs several times per shift
• Lift and carry at least 30 lbs.
• Not required, but if you can lift 60 lbs, we've got even more opportunities for you!

Example Shifts:

• 10am–2pm
• 2pm–6pm
• 6pm–11pm
• Our scheduling is flexible and these are only a few examples
