Pay 14  

Reports To:

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000

Other Forms of Compensation: Bonus PLan

Job Summary

Restaurant Associates is seeking a dynamic and experienced  Director of Dining Services at the esteemed  Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library . This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional dining experiences that complement Winterthur's rich cultural offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily dining operations, ensuring high-quality food and service standards across all venues.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, guests, and internal departments to enhance the overall visitor experience.
  • Collaborate with culinary teams to develop innovative menus that reflect seasonal trends and cater to diverse audiences.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and P&L management to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Implement new culinary programs and initiatives in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to maintain a motivated and skilled workforce.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in foodservice operations, preferably in high-volume or cultural institution settings.
  • Proven experience in budget management and financial oversight.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • ServSafe certification required.
