Job Description

Location: Red Lodge, MT

This position is responsible for coordinating and implementing the credentialing, privileging, and enrollment activities within Beartooth Billings Clinic (BBC) to include appointment, reappointment, and ongoing verification activities of the Medical Staff. The Credentialing Specialist is also responsible for oversight and administration of the Peer Review process. This position interacts with the Chief Medical Officer, insurance companies, and providers. This position may provide support for the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Compliance Officer as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above tasks, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• One year of secretarial or office experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Previous credentialing and/or administrative assistant experience

Schedule:

• 32-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
• Temporary position, Summer 2025

Compensation:

• $19.90 - $22.88 per hour DOE
